Once upon a time, at the very edge of a thick 🎵 and whispering forest, stood a small, incredibly cozy cottage. Two beautiful rose bushes grew right outside—one bloomed with white 🎵 flowers, and the other with red 🎵. Inside this cottage lived a kind widow and her two little girls, who looked just like those wonderful spring flowers.

The girls were named Snow White and Rose Red. They were the sweetest and happiest sisters under the sun, even though they were a little different from each other. Rose Red loved to run through the meadows, catch butterflies, and sing with the birds 🎵. Quiet and gentle Snow White liked to stay inside, help her mother, and listen to fairy tales. Still, the sisters loved each other so much that whenever they walked through the forest, they always held hands and promised never to let go.

A cold, harsh winter arrived. A thick, fluffy blanket of sparkling snow covered the whole world, and the frost painted beautiful ice flowers on the windows. On those freezing nights, their mother would lock the door, light a warm fire in the fireplace 🎵, and sit in her favorite chair. She would read magical stories from a big, thick book, while Snow White and Rose Red listened with wide eyes, sitting on the soft rug next to their softly sleeping little dog 🎵.

One evening, when the wind was howling 🎵 loudly and a snowstorm was burying the paths, they suddenly heard a loud, heavy knock at the door 🎵. Someone was begging to come inside. Their mother smiled kindly and asked Rose Red to open the door quickly. She was sure it was just a freezing traveler looking for a safe place to hide from the storm.

Rose Red slid back the heavy lock 🎵 without a second thought, but what she saw made her squeal in surprise. It wasn’t a traveler with a knapsack standing on the porch. Through the open door, a great, shaggy black bear squeezed into the 🎵 cottage! Snow White was so scared she hid behind her mother’s chair, and Rose Red took a step back, her eyes wide. But the bear didn’t look scary at all. To their great surprise, he spoke with a deep, incredibly gentle human voice.

He asked them not to be afraid, promising he wouldn’t hurt them one little bit. He explained that he was just terribly cold and only wanted to warm his freezing paws by their cheerful fire.
