Benny the Bunny could slide down the tallest slide at the playground 🎵, and he could draw a perfectly round sun 🎵 all by himself. But he had a very hard time when learning something new didn’t work out right away 🎵. And today was an incredibly important day!

Papa Bunny brought his red toolbox out to the yard and took the little training wheels off Benny’s bike 🎵. Benny also got a brand-new, shiny helmet with green stripes.

“Now I’m a big-kid bike rider!” he called out proudly, snapping the strap under his chin 🎵. “I’m going to ride faster than the wind!”

In the distance, he saw his friends, Cleo the Cat and Buster the Puppy, zooming smoothly along the park paths on their bikes 🎵. Ding, ding! They rang their bells cheerfully 🎵. Benny really wanted to join them. He hopped onto the seat, gripped the handlebars tightly, put his head down, and stared as hard as he could at his paws on the pedals.

Benny pushed down on the pedal and started to move. But the bike didn’t go straight at all! The handlebars wobbled dangerously to the left, then to the right 🎵. Benny lost his balance, the bike tipped over, and… THUD! He landed in the grass 🎵 next to the path. He wasn’t hurt, but he felt a huge, sharp sting of disappointment.

Anger and embarrassment washed over 🎵 Benny like a hot wave. He picked himself up. He pinned his ears back in anger, and his little nose turned as red as a tomato. He stomped his hind foot on the ground. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

“Stupid bike! It’s broken!” he shouted as loudly as he could.

Just then, Buster the Puppy rode over to him 🎵. He approached carefully, a worried look on his face.

“Are you okay, Benny?” asked his friend.
