Once upon a time, there was a boy named Mark who lived in a cozy little house with his best friend - a fluffy brown dog 🎵 named Patch. Patch had brown fur and a tail that always swept everything off the low shelves 🎵.

Mark and Patch did everything together - they played in the garden, shared snacks (though Patch always tried to sneak more when Mark wasn’t looking), and cuddled during afternoon naps 🎵.

One sunny morning, while playing with Patch in the park, Mark noticed a bright red poster on the wall. It had big numbers and pictures of helpers like firefighters and police officers.

“What are those numbers, Mom?” asked Mark, pointing to the poster.

Mark’s mom came closer and explained, “These are special emergency numbers that people call when they really need help.”

“Like when a dragon attacks the city?” asked Mark excitedly.

mom laughed 🎵. “No, more like when someone is lost or feeling sick. Remember, Mark,” she added gently, “these numbers are only for real emergencies, when someone needs immediate help.”

But Mark thought it would be cool to meet a real police officer. As soon as his mom went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, he picked up the phone and dialed the emergency number 🎵.

“Hello, this is Dispatcher Alice. What’s your emergency?” a friendly voice answered.

Mark tried to think of something quickly. “My dog Patch is missing!” he said, trying not to giggle, while Patch sat right next to him, scratching amusingly behind his ear with his back paw.

Soon a police car with flashing lights stopped outside 🎵 their house. Officer Olivia stepped out - she had a neat blue uniform, kind eyes, and the curliest hair Mark had ever seen. It looked like tiny springs popping out from under her police cap.

But when she came inside, Patch was sound asleep in his bed, snoring so loudly that his squeaky toy 🎵 bounced with each breath.
