Hello! My name is Boris and I’m a bear. I live in Pine Corner, in a cozy den under the big root of an old pine tree. I like raspberries, naps in the sunshine, and my friends from the forest.
But today… today I was VERY angry 🎵!
In the morning, I woke up in a super mood. I stretched, yawned, and thought: “Aha! Today I’ll eat my delicious raspberries!”
You know, at Sunny Meadow grew the most beautiful, sweetest, most wonderful raspberries in the whole world! I had been watching them all week. I watched them grow, become more and more red and juicy. Yesterday they were still a little too green, but today they were going to be PERFECT!
I ran quickly 🎵 to the raspberry bush.
And what did I see?
Someone had eaten ALL my raspberries! Not even one was left!
“GRRRR!” I growled loudly.
I felt myself getting hot. Very hot! As if I had a big, hot balloon in my tummy that was getting more and more inflated. My paws started shaking, and my fur stood up like Henry Hedgehog’s spines!
“Who did this?!” I shouted. “WHO ATE MY RASPBERRIES?!”
STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! — I stomped my paws so hard that the ground shook 🎵.
I saw Jack Rabbit hopping across the meadow.
“Jack!” I roared. “Was it YOU who ate my raspberries?!”
Jack jumped up in fright 🎵.
“N-no! I only eat carrots and cabbage!” he said quickly and disappeared into his 🎵 burrow.
Then I saw Fiona Squirrel collecting pinecones.
“Fiona!” I called angrily. “Was it YOU who ate my raspberries?!”
“Boris dear, I only eat nuts and pinecones!” said Fiona and quickly climbed up 🎵 a tree.
I was getting angrier and angrier 🎵! That hot balloon in my tummy grew and grew 🎵!
