Mysterious Nessie in the Lake
About This Story
This heartwarming story follows Fiona, a curious Scottish girl who discovers and befriends Nessie, the legendary Loch Ness monster. When Fiona realizes Nessie is actually gentle and lonely, not scary at all, she begins visiting her every day, bringing food and sharing stories. When tourists arrive hoping to photograph the monster, Fiona protects her friend's secret. The story teaches children about the importance of looking beyond appearances, the value of friendship, and how to be loyal by keeping promises. It also shows that sometimes the most special relationships are the ones we treasure privately.
In beautiful Scotland 🎵, a land full of green hills and misty valleys, there was a huge lake called Loch Ness. It was so deep and dark that nobody knew what was hidden at its bottom.
In a small village by the lake lived a girl named Fiona. She had red hair, a freckled face, and was very curious. Fiona loved sitting by the lake and watching the waves 🎵, birds, and fish.
“Fiona!” her grandmother called from the house. “Don’t go too close to the water! There’s a mysterious monster living in the lake!”
“Grandma, is there really a monster there?” asked Fiona with wide-open eyes.
“Oh, yes,” replied her grandmother. “People call it Nessie. They say it has a long neck like a dinosaur and a huge body. It has been seen many times, but nobody knows if it’s dangerous or friendly.”
Fiona listened to these stories with bated breath. She really wanted to see Nessie with her own eyes!
One misty morning, Fiona went out early to the lake. She took a jam sandwich and a thermos of hot tea with her. She sat on her favorite rock and looked at the water.
“Nessie, Nessie,” she whispered quietly. “If you’re really there, please show yourself. I promise I won’t be scared.”
Suddenly, the water began to move 🎵! Large bubbles 🎵 appeared, and then… something big emerged from the lake! Fiona saw a long, green neck and a large, gentle head with enormous eyes.
“Ooooh!” whispered Fiona, unable to believe her own eyes.
