Little Red Riding Hood
In a little village, where the wind sings and birds chirp,
lived a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She got her name
from her favorite red cloak, a gift from her grandma, who lived
far in the woods. Everyone in the village loved her, especially her
grandma.
One bright day, Little Red Riding Hoodâs mom said, âDear,
grandma is feeling sick. Can you take this basket to her? It has
eggs, butter, cake, and other yummy things.â
Little Red Riding Hood nodded happily, âOf course, Mommy!
Grandma will be so happy!â She put on her red cloak, took the
basket, and went into the forest.
14
During her walk, the girl saw beautiful flowers with bees flying
over them. âIâll pick some flowers for Grandmaâ she thought
with a smile. She stepped off the path to gather a bouquet.
Then, she heard a voice, âGood morning, Little Red Riding
Hood.â
She turned and saw a big, gray wolf. Little Red Riding Hood
didnât know wolves could be tricky, and she greeted him with a
smile. âGood morning!â she smiled.
âWhatâs in your basket?â asked the wolf.
âEggs, butter, and cake for my sick grandma,â she said.
âWhere does your grandma live?â the wolf asked.
âDown the path, past the roses, and through the gate,â she told
him.
The wolf, pleased with the information, said goodbye to Little
Red Riding Hood and hurried off to Grandmaâs house. Little Red Riding Hood continued picking flowers, enjoying the
warmth of the sun and the birdsâ songs.
15
The wolf reached Grandmaâs house first. He sneaked in quietly and patiently waited for Little Red Riding Hood to arrive.
When Red Riding Hood got there, she said, âGood morning,
Grandma! I brought you food and flowers.â
Coming closer, she felt something was wrong.
âGrandma, your ears are so big!â
âThey help me hear you better, dear.â
âYour eyes are so big!â
âThey help me see you better, dear.â
âYour nose is so big!â
âIt helps me smell better, dear.â
âAnd your mouth is so big!â
âThe better to eat you with, my dear!â the wolf jumped up.
16
Little Red Riding Hood ran around the room, shouting,
âHelp! Wolf!â as loudly as she could. Just then, Little Red Riding Hoodâs dad came in. Hearing her shout, he rushed in and
stopped the wolf, chasing him out of the house and into the forest.
Realizing his defeat, the wolf ran away with a howl and never
dared to come near the village again.
Little Red Riding Hood hugged her dad tightly. âThank you,
Daddy,â she whispered, her heart still pounding with fear.
Little Red Riding Hood and her dad checked on Grandma. It
turned out that Grandma had cleverly hidden in the closet as
soon as she saw the wolf entering the house. Stepping out of her
hiding place, safe and sound, she hugged Little Red Riding
Hood and her dad tightly. âIâm so glad you are safe!â she said,
tears of relief streaming down her cheeks.
âI promise to be more careful,â said Little Red Riding Hood.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood always stayed cautious during her walks through the forest. She never talked to
strangers and always stayed on the path.
17
And so, they lived happily ever after 🎵, filling the village with
their laughter and love. All thanks to a brave little girl in a red
cloak and her dad.

The Emperorâs
New Clothes
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom 🎵, there lived an
emperor who adored new clothes more than anything else
in the world. He had a different outfit for every hour of the day!
His wardrobe was so big that it took up an entire wing of the
palace. The emperor loved to parade through the city, showing
off his splendid attire to all his subjects.
One sunny day, two strangers came 🎵 to the kingdom. They
called themselves master tailors and claimed to make the most
magnificent fabrics ever seen. But these werenât just any ordinary fabrics. Oh no! These fabrics were magical. They said that
the cloth they wove was invisible to anyone who was foolish or
not good at their job.
20
When the emperor heard about these magical tailors, he was
thrilled. âImagine!â he thought. âIf I had clothes made from
that fabric, I could find out who in my kingdom is unfit for their
position. And of course, Iâll have the most fabulous outfit ever!â
He invited the two tailors to the palace. They set up looms and
pretended to work, but in reality, they were just stuffing their
bags with gold and silk threads the emperor had given them.
Day after day, they acted like they were weaving, but there was
nothing on their looms.
Curious about their progress, the emperor sent his most trusted
minister to check on the tailors. The minister walked into the
room and saw… nothing! But he didnât want to admit that he
couldnât see the fabric, because that would mean he was foolish
or unfit for his job. So he exclaimed, âOh, itâs marvelous! The
colors, the patternsâsimply exquisite!â
The tailors beamed. âWeâre so glad you like it,â they said, and
they described the intricate designs they were âweaving.â
Soon, the news of the magical fabric spread throughout the
kingdom. Everyone was excited and a little nervous. They all
wondered, âWill I be able to see the cloth?â
21
Finally, the day came when the tailors announced that the emperorâs new clothes were ready. They pretended to hold up the
invisible outfit. âhere it is 🎵, Your Majesty! The jacket is as light
as a feather, and the trousers fit like a dream.â
The emperor looked in the mirror and saw… nothing! But just
like the minister, he didnât want to seem foolish. So he nodded
enthusiastically. âItâs fantastic! I couldnât be more pleased.â
All the courtiers agreed 🎵, clapping their hands and exclaiming
how wonderful the emperor looked in his new clothes.
The tailors said, âNow, Your Majesty, you must parade through
the city to show off your splendid new outfit.â
The emperor agreed, and a grand procession was planned 🎵.
The streets were decorated with colorful banners, and all the
people gathered to see their emperor in his magical new clothes.
As the emperor marched proudly down the street, the townspeople cheered. But deep down, they were puzzled. They couldnât
see any clothes on the emperor! Still, they didnât want to appear
foolish, so they clapped and shouted, âHow splendid our em22
peror looks! What a beautiful outfit!â
Then, suddenly, a small child tugged at his motherâs sleeve and
asked in a loud voice, âMommy, why isnât the emperor wearing
any clothes?â
The crowd grew quiet. They whispered among themselves 🎵.
âDid you hear what that child said? He doesnât see the clothes!â
Then another child piped up, âI canât see them either!â
The whispers turned into murmurs, and soon the whole crowd
was saying, âThe emperor isnât wearing any clothes!â
The emperor heard the voices 🎵 and realized that the people
were right. He felt very embarrassed but thought, âI must finish
the parade.â
So he stood up straight and continued marching 🎵, his head
held high, even though he knew he had been fooled.
The two tailors, however, were nowhere to be found. They had
slipped away with all the gold and silk threads, never to be seen
again.
23
From that day on, the emperor learned an important lesson 🎵
about honesty and humility. He promised to be more thoughtful and to value the truth, no matter how difficult it might be to
hear.
And the people of the kingdom learned that itâs okay to speak up
when something doesnât seem right. After all, even a small voice
can reveal great truths.

Puss in Boots
Once upon a time, there was a miller who had three sons.
when he died 🎵, he left them only three things: his mill,
his donkey, and his cat. They quickly divided these things
among themselves without any lawyers, because lawyers would
have taken everything for themselves!
The oldest son got the mill 🎵, and the second son got the donkey 🎵. So, the youngest son was left with just the cat 🎵. He felt
pretty sad about this.
âMy brothers can work together to make money,â he said, âbut
all I can do is eat my cat and make a pair of gloves from its fur.
Then Iâll probably starve 🎵!â
26
The cat heard this and pretended not to listen. Then he said very
seriously, âDonât worry, Master. Just get me a bag and some
cool boots so I can walk in the woods. Youâll see that your part
of the inheritance isnât so bad after all.â
Now, this cat was known for being pretty clever. When catching
mice, he would hide in flour and hang upside down, pretending to be dead. So even though his master didnât totally believe
what the cat said, he felt a little hopeful.
When the cat got his new boots, he put them on happily 🎵.
He hung the bag around his neck and set off to a place where
lots of rabbits lived. He put some food in the bag and lay down,
pretending to be dead. His plan was to wait for a young, naive
rabbit to come looking for the food.
Soon enough, a silly young rabbit went into the bag. The cat
quickly pulled the strings tight and caught it.
Feeling proud of his catch, the cat went to the kingâs palace.
He asked to see the king and was let in. He bowed to the king
and said, âYour Majesty, I bring you a rabbit from the estate of
the Marquis of Carabas. He asked me to give it to you as a gift.â
(The cat made up this fancy title for his master.)
27
âTell your master thank you.â said the king. âI appreciate hisgift.â
Another time, the cat hid in a wheat field with his bag open.
two birds 🎵 flew in, and he caught them both. He took them to
the king just like he did with the rabbit. The king was really
happy and even gave the cat a treat.
For a few months, the cat kept bringing gifts to the king, saying
they were from his master. One day, he heard that the king was
going on a trip by the river 🎵 with his daughter, who was the
most beautiful princess 🎵 in the world.
âIf you do what I say,â the cat told his master, âyouâll become
rich. Just go swimming in the river where I tell you to. Iâll take
care of the rest.â
The master didnât know what the cat was planning, but he did
it anyway.
while he was swimming 🎵, the kingâs carriage came by.
The cat started shouting, âHelp! Help! The Marquis of Carabas
28
is drowning!â
The king looked out of his carriage and recognized the cat who
always brought him gifts. He told his guards to help the marquis.
While they were helping the master out of the river, the cat told
the king that some thieves had stolen his masterâs clothes while
he was swimming. Actually, the cat had hidden the clothes
under a big rock. The king immediately ordered his servants to
bring some of his own fancy clothes for the marquis.
The king liked the marquis right away. The princess thought
he was very handsome in his new clothes and fell in love with
him instantly. The king invited him to join them in the carriage.
Happy that his plan was working, the cat ran ahead 🎵. He came
across some farmers working in a field.
âListen up, guys,â he said. âWhen the king comes by, tell him
this field belongs to the Marquis of Carabas. If you donât, youâll
be in big trouble!â
When the king asked the farmers who owned the field, they all
29
said it belonged to the Marquis of Carabas, because they were
scared of the catâs threat.
âYou have a great property,â the king told the marquis.
âYes, Your Majesty,â replied the marquis. âThis field always
gives us lots of crops every year.â
The cat kept running ahead 🎵, telling everyone he met to say
their land belonged to the Marquis of Carabas. The king was
really impressed by how much land the marquis seemed to own.
Finally, the cat reached a huge castle 🎵 that belonged to a giant. This giant was super rich and owned all the land they had
passed through.
The cat had found out about this giant and his powers. He asked
to meet the giant, saying he couldnât pass by without saying hello.
The giant welcomed him and asked him to sit down.
âIâve heard,â said the cat, âthat you can turn into any animal you
want. Is it true you can become a lion or an elephant?â
30
âThatâs right,â said the giant. âWatch this â Iâll turn into a
lion!â
The cat was so scared 🎵 when he saw the lion that he jumped
onto the roof, even though it was hard with his boots on.
When the giant changed back, the cat came down and admitted
he had been scared.
âIâve also heard,â he added, âthat you can turn into tiny animals
too, like a rat or a mouse. But that seems impossible to me.â
âImpossible?â cried the giant. âJust watch!â And he turned
into a mouse.
As soon as the cat saw the mouse, he pounced on it and ate it up.
