Cinderella

Once upon a time, a girl named Cinderella lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters. It was Cinderella who had to wake up each morning when it was still dark and cold to start the fire 🎵. Cinderella cooked the meals, kept the fire going, and did all the hard chores like cleaning dishes 🎵, scrubbing floors 🎵, and washing clothes 🎵. The poor girl could not stay clean, covered in ashes and cinders from the fireplace. Her stepsisters had fancy rooms to sleep in, but Cinderella’s room was tiny and cold 🎵, all the way up in the attic.
Cinderella’s stepmother wasn’t nice. She didn’t like how kind Cinderella was because it made her own daughters seem less charming. So, poor Cinderella had to do all the hard chores. Even in her ragged clothes, she was much prettier than her stepsisters, even when they wore their fanciest dresses.
One exciting day, the King’s son decided to throw a huge ball 🎵 and invited everyone, including Cinderella’s family! The stepsisters were so happy, they couldn’t stop picking out the most beautiful dresses. Of course, this meant more work for Cinderella, who helped them get ready.
