Long, long ago, in a beautiful city full of bazaars 🎵 and minarets, there lived a poor boy named Aladdin. He lived with his beloved mother in a small house on the edge of the city. They didn’t have much money, but Aladdin always tried to help his mother as much as he could.

One day, as Aladdin was returning from the market, a mysterious man in a dark cloak approached him 🎵.

“Hello, young man,” said the stranger in a deep voice. “I am your uncle Abanazar! I have been traveling the world for many years. I have a special task for you. If you help me, I promise that you and your mother will never know poverty again.”

Aladdin thought about his mother and how hard she worked.

“What do I need to do?” he asked.

Abanazar led Aladdin to the desert, far beyond the city. Finally, they reached a strange place where a mysterious entrance was hidden between rocks 🎵.

“Do you see that opening in the ground?” asked Abanazar. “It leads to a magical cave. I am too big to enter, but you are slim and nimble. Inside there is an old lamp. Will you bring it to me? But remember - don’t touch anything except the lamp!”

Aladdin nodded and descended into the cave 🎵. He found himself in the most amazing place he had ever seen! The cave glowed with a thousand colors 🎵! Everywhere were piles of gold coins, jewels as big as apples, and pearls as large as eggs. On an old stone pedestal, he saw an old, rusty lamp. It looked very ordinary.

“This is strange,” thought Aladdin. “Why would my uncle want such an ugly old lamp when there are so many beautiful treasures here?”

He took the lamp and tucked it inside his shirt. As he was returning, he saw a beautiful ring lying on the ground 🎵. It sparkled so nicely! “Maybe I’ll take it for my mother?” he thought and put the ring on his finger.

When Aladdin returned to the cave entrance, Abanazar stretched out his hand.

“Give me the lamp! Quickly!”

“Help me get out first, uncle,” Aladdin asked. “It’s hard for me to climb.”

“No! Give me the lamp first!” shouted Abanazar angrily.

Suddenly Aladdin realized that something was wrong. This man wasn’t his uncle at all! He was an evil sorcerer who wanted to steal the magic lamp!
